Advantages of Part-Time Jobs

Since the modern generation started, part-time jobs have become popular with Taiwanese especially for students. This effect can easily be discovered if you take a walk on a street and look around. Coffee shops, gas station, convenient stores or restaurants are often full of part-time workers that will help stores to look after their basic tasks. After witnessing this effect, you may wonder why.
Part-time jobs are always needed in a city, and people are often busy and have a dense schedule. So when you want to create your own income, you may not have enough time for a Full-time job. When having this problem, I will decide to grab a part-time but not a full-time job in my situation. College students for example, whose taking classes as their main jobs so they have to choose a part-time job to make sure they will be available when it comes the working time.
The second reason is about getting working experience and skills. Working for a part-time job is a smart choice when you want to give it a try before having a main job. Because when working for a part-time job, you are not going to cause a great damage if you make a mistake, so it is a good opportunity to learn from mistakes in a job. And you will have to face problems that may occur in future, like learning skills to face vary kinds of customers.
The third reason from companies’ viewpoint, most of the full-time jobs will pay more than NT$150 per hour but part-time job will only pay NT$100. What makes those two situations so different from each other, because full-time job workers are employed to perform professional skills and part-time job workers are always paid for only basic tasks. Take a convenience store for example, selling those goods does not take a special skill so the companies always set the job as a part-time job that con help them save money.
To sum up, a part-time job is popular for good reasons and those advantages are really attractive to people who want to work and companies that hope to save money. A deal will happen when both sides are content.
