Candy 2007.04.27 (Friday)_第86堂課
今天真的 "狀況" 很多喔!! 還好都是好狀況!
上次帶回家念的書, 大家都記得耶. 感動!!
一開始Jasper媽媽就先將書給我. 要看簽名時, 我先從Jimmy的書開始. 沒想到Jasper很緊張的跑去跟媽媽說, "我的book呢?" 聽說在我這, 才放心.
開始上課了, 我跟大家說有認真練習的, "two circles for everyone!" 小朋友們都知道一個圓圈圈代表一張baby card, 所以Lydia馬上跟我說, "No, three circles!" 全班大笑. ㄟ…太貪心了吧.
然後就是Thomas不斷跟我說, "Teacher, 今天是sunny day, 對不對?" 我沒會意. "Teacher, it's hot. 我今天睡太久了, it's very, very hot." 我還是不懂他的用意. (下課後Thomas媽媽說了才知道, 原來他一直記得我上次說, "It's cold today. No ice cream. You can eat ice cream on a sunny day." 在提醒我要給吃ice cream呢!)
然後我們開始練習聽. 老師若說, "A yellow lollipop!" 小朋友們就要拿玩具鎚打中正確的東西. 為了避免亂來, 我特別說明了今天可以吃ice cream. 但亂打的人我要請他吃yucky ice cream: 就是加了鹽巴和辣椒的. 哈哈哈, 擊中率幾達百分百.
然後我請小朋友輪流當老師, 又開心的玩了好久. 看著大家毫無困擾的念出要同學找並擊中的食物, 又是一次感動. 不過啊Jasper 跟 Jimmy 當老師時, 大家幾乎不用等他們講完就猜出是啥了. 因為, 一個愛yellow, 一個老是挑blue啊.
最後讓孩子們撕紙, 包在玻璃紙中捲成糖果. 然後黏在盤子上. 粉美喔!!
Thomas還是不改整齊的本性. Candy 圍成一圈.
女生都比較注重排出來的效果.
Jimmy 是唯一按照老師 (就是我啦) 的示範做的. 有人聽我說話的感覺真好.
Jasper 不來點不一樣的, 就不是Jasper囉. 明明是要黏在盤子上, 他就還要加些 "奶油" 嗎? 害我以為他的candy是沒黏在盤子上的呢.
下課了, 一人一枝冰棒. 開心.

Word of the Week: soap opera (n.)
This is a “soap opera”…

A soap opera is a TV show (Parade III: Unit 9) which tells a story about people and their lives. You can usually see it every week at the same time. Korean soap operas are quite popular at the moment.

Ladybugs 2007.04.17 (Tuesday)_第17堂課
今天還是一大早起床, 但想了半天, 還是不知該做什麼. 還好我有秘密武器. 搜尋了一下, 可以做ladybugs喔!!
Ladybugs 跟 body parts的單元有什麼關聯啊? 剛好星期一念給瑭瑭聽的故事Lenny's Lost Spots可以先講給小朋友們聽. 所以就介紹了ladybugs身上的斑點. 還跟瑭瑭借了兩個玩偶: 大頭狗 (four legs) 及 毛毛蟲 (six legs). 然後再翻開書來, 數數看ladybugs有幾隻腳. 無意間, 把自然科學也帶進來了. 很厲害的老師吧!! 真神氣.
這是早上準備的材料: 黑色圓點貼紙, 毛根:三長一短, 眼睛, 還有85度C 貢獻的杯座.
將杯座剪下, 打洞: 一邊三個, 前面再兩個. 頭的部份塗黑, 圓點貼紙兩邊各貼三個. 長毛根穿過身體, 短毛根當觸鬚. 貼上眼睛.
瑭瑭和姊姊們又做了一些改良: 顏料要加白膠, 否則乾了後會掉色; 不要用打洞器, 用刀子割一小孔就好了, 因為毛根會固定的比較好. 不過年紀小的孩子, 可能沒辦法自己將毛根穿過刀子割的小孔. 所以就要用白膠固定住囉!
