When getting my first part-time job, I do not expect everything will be so successful. Sometimes we just have to make our experience and learn from it, so that we can be better than we are now.
One of my classmates went to a bookstore for her first part-time job. She told me that earning money is really difficult and she also got cut by the books. I can understand why she said that. When my parents are dealing with their work, it seems really hard. I think she made a good choice to help her realize how hard working her parents were.
I would choose by my interest, because I don’t want to do a job I do not like. I would still consider the salary and work’s nature. If the work load or tasks are too much, I might not be able to handle the job. I wouldn’t choose it to be my part-time job.
So for me, I would choose the coffee shop as my first part-time job, because its working conditions are really comfortable. I can listen to music while I’m working. Isn’t it wonderful?
I just want to tell you that if you didn’t choose the right part-time job for the first time, it is okay! You still have so many years to find a good one.
